Located in the centre of Denbigh, The Hand Inn has been a community cornerstone for over a hundred years! In fact, the current building opened its doors for the first time in 1924 - exactly a hundred years ago this year, and we'll be organising a few events to celebrate that milestone!

The Hand Inn is a characterful traditional Welsh pub occupying a prominent position in the heart of the historic medieval town of Denbigh in the Vale of Clwyd. As well as all the facilities and pastimes that you would expect such as darts, pool and big screen TVs for showing the big sporting events, what really sets The Hand Inn apart is the high standard and variety of genuinely home-cooked meals on offer at prices that truly belie the quality and standard of the meals on offer.
Despite the very modest pricing, even the chips are made from high quality potatoes that are peeled and hand-cut on the premises, unlike the frozen offerings served in so many outlets these days, and all menu items that are described as home-made are exactly that - lovingly prepared from scratch here in our kitchen using locally sourced ingredients.
The kitchen is open every Monday & Wednesday evening from 5.30 to 8.30pm, and all day from 12.30 to 8.30pm from Thursday to Saturday.
On Sundays, traditional roasts are served between 12.30pm and 4.30pm. (Please note that last food orders for all meals is 15 mins before end of service.)
